Joao Mario's agent has denied claims the Sporting Lisbon midfielder is set to join Inter Milan.

It was understood that the Portugal international had agreed a deal to join the Nerazzurri for a fee of around £38million but Kia Joorabchian has played down those suggestions.

"There's no new developments, an agreement has not been made, come back to me tomorrow," he told Mais Futebol.

The revelation from Joorabchian has kept the door open for both Liverpool and Chelsea who have both shown genuine interest in the 23-year-old Euro2016 winner this summer.
