Ipswich boss Roy Keane insists Colchester have had no contact with him over the future of Kevin Lisbie. The striker has netted 10 goals in 21 appearances since joining the League One side on loan but the 31-year-old is due to return to Portman Road in January.
Keane told the Evening Star: "Kevin (Lisbie) is a good player, we all know that, and he's been scoring goals in League One."
He added: "He had disappointments when he first came here. When I came in players had opportunities to speak to other clubs.
"He's coming back to us in January as I said a month or two ago. That still stands and we look forward to him coming back.
"If I'm interested in a player then I'd just pick up the phone. That's what I do and Colchester have not done that."
