Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has said there has not been any approach from Arsenal to speak to his assistant, Mikel Arteta about their vacant managerial post.

"There has been no approach," said Guardiola, who added that he had not spoken to Arteta about the situation but repeated his message from last week that he wants him to stay.

He added: "He travelled to Burnley (on Tuesday) and tomorrow he will be close to me again against United. He will be here until the end of the season, I think so."
