Nketiah delighted for Willock as they star in Arsenal win

Joe Willock and Eddie Nketiah were delighted to help Arsenal to victory over Southampton.

Both youngsters scored in the win.

"I'm delighted," Nketiah said. "He's like my brother, so if I score he celebrates like me and if he scores, it's like I've scored again. I'm delighted for him, I think he did well when he came on and it was nice to wrap up the three points and for us both to get on the scoresheet.

"I think we work a lot on our high press and we did it really well today," the striker added. "For me personally, I always try to give my all for the team, so things like that, I can just smell a bit of uncertainty from the goalkeeper and I just kept pulling in. I've done that about 100 times, so it's nice that one of them leads to a goal.

"I think that's just the way I play. I always try to be a nuisance and put my weight around and chase for the team, run in behind and try and hold the ball up. The team all worked hard together and we were unlucky not to score more. We had a couple of good chances but it was good to get three points.

"I think we've been unfortunate - especially in the first game and the last game - but we knew we had to roll our sleeves up and really fight for the three points. Like I said, hopefully we'll build on from this and keep pushing forward."
