Nigerian defender Oshaniwa set for Hearts move

Nigerian defender Juwon Oshaniwa is on the verge of completing his move to Heart of Midlothian, according to Sky Sports.

Only a work permit and visa delays have been proving to be the road-blocks, but they now appear to have been resolved according to the report.

The 24-year-old full-back has been playing his football with Israeli side FC Ashdod.

Oshaniwa previously stated his desire for the move last month: "I will be so glad to leave for greener pastures to meet up with my goal in a well-developed league to improve on the status I have got in the world of football. "And I am very sure I can achieve my aim with these clubs. But sure, my mind is set and made up to leave Ashdod in this summer's transfer window in as much as the deal terms are met with and sealed with any of these clubs."
