The niece of Spanish FA president Angel Maria Villar has been killed in Mexico.
Marca reports on Tuesday night the girl, as yet unnamed, was kidnapped in the Mexican city of Toluca before being driven to withdraw money from ATMs and contact the family to demand a ransom, according to Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Garcia.
"[Villar] paid the amount, but it was less than they demanded.
"We thought she would be released, unfortunately that was not the case," Garcia told radio station Onda Cero.
