Nico Gonzalez says he feels ready for a playing return at Valencia,

The Barcelona midfielder is on-loan at VCF this season and has recovered from a metatarsal operation.

Nico said: “I am very happy to finally be ready. I am looking forward to it, it has been a somewhat hard two months in which I have worked a lot, but I am now prepared and very happy.

"I'm very happy with the pace I'm having. There is no discomfort, the foot is new. Thursday was eight weeks after the operation and that day I was already with the group. We have advanced a few weeks, in the end everything has gone better than expected."

Nico hopes to face Osasuna on Saturday: “I really wanted to come back, I still don't fully believe it. I want to see myself in Mestalla playing again, I am in the process of assimilating already with the team. A game is different from a training session, it cannot be simulated, the key moment is Saturday."
