Nice president Jean-Pierre Rivere has cooled talk of a move for Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard.
It was claimed in England this week that Lingard's camp had held talks with Nice about a January switch.
But Rivere told Nice-Matin: "We have seen a lot of names appear in the press without any merit.
"Our objective is to recover all of our workforce and our objective is all together to play a good second part of season."
Lingard is yet to make a Premier League appearance for United this season.
