Nice are preparing an offer for Wigan Athletic striker Mauro Boselli.
The Argentine moved to Wigan last summer from Estudiantes for €10 million, but struggled to adjust to life in England and was farmed out to Genoa in January.
Boselli also failed to make an impression at Genoa and the Italians passed up the option to sign him permanently.
However, Nice have been in touch and are willing to offer €4.5 to bring the striker to France for next season.
