Nice in frame as Man City draw up Steffen plans

Manchester City are expected to loan out Zak Steffen in January.

The Daily Mail says City are closing in on the signing of Steffen from Columbus Crew.

The USA goalkeeper is expected to complete a £6million move after travelling to the north west this week.

City are unsure whether Steffen will be awarded a work permit and he is likely to head out on loan.

Sister club Girona and Patrick Vieira's Nice are both candidates to take the 23-year-old temporarily.
