Chelsea's Emerson Palmieri is being linked with a move to Nice in France.

The left-back is not wanted at the Stamford Bridge club, while Nice only have Melvin Bard for that position at present.

Fabrice Hawkins reports that the player is set to sign for Nice, having turned down interest from Italian side Empoli.

In fact, L'Equipe states that Nice's only current left-back may leave the club before the window closes.

Bard may be heading to Bayer Leverkusen in the next few weeks, which would accelerate their move for Emerson even more.
