Nice sports chief Julien Fournier has confirmed weekend reports of a deal agreed for Everton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.

The two clubs have agreed a fee for the Frenchman, who is expected in Nice today. It's emerged Schneiderlin has already passed his OGCN medical.

Fournier, speaking with Europe 1, confirmed the news.

"He should arrive here on Monday," said Fournier, "he has already passed the medical check.

"We are waiting for Everton to sign (contracts)."

Schneiderlin, who joined Everton from Manchester United in 2017, has a year left on his Toffees deal.
