Sacked Athletic Bilbao coach Eduardo Berizzo could jump straight back into football - in South America.

Berizzo was shown the door by Athletic this week.

El Liberal says Newell's Old Boys of Argentina are seeking talks with Berizzo about replacing Omar de Felippe.

"He is a coach that of course interests us, but we are aware that we will have to make a significant economic effort," a Newell's source said.

Also interested are Chile's Colo Colo, which are seeking a new appointment to replace Hector Tapia.
