The secret behind the form of Newcastle United defender Habib Beye is rice pudding!

Beye has become obsessed by chef Liz Kelly's traditional pud - to the point where he's been demanding it every day.

The Sunday Sun says Kelly promised the Senegal star rice pudding every day if Newcastle beat Sunderland last Sunday.

Beye duly played his full part in a straightforward 2-0 win, before celebrating wildly, throwing his shirt into the crowd . . . and then claiming his just desserts!
