Newcastle United youngster Elliott Anderson would love to stay next season.
The 19-year-old midfielder impressed in Friday's win over Atalanta, his first senior appearance at St James' Park.
"I'd love to stay," said Anderson.
"This is all I want, to be honest - to be a part of the first-team and to be involved and to be in matchday squads often. Hopefully that will happen."
On the clash against Atalanta, Anderson added: "I loved it.
"It felt quite surreal walking out. I had a little look around and I thought 'this is everything I've dreamed of'.
"It was different to the others (pre-season friendlies). Even though it's a friendly, it felt really important for me to do well. It was a proud moment for my family.
"It was crazy. I was a bit shook up to start with but I managed to keep the nerves down and I think I did all right. I was quite nervous all day, to be fair. As I walked out, I had goose bumps."
