Newcastle youngster Bigirimana has undoubted quality - Coventry boss Mowbray

Coventry City boss Tony Mowbray has hailed the quality of midfielder Gael Bigirimana.

The Newcastle United youngster rejoined Coventry on loan during the summer and the move gives him a great opportunity to get his career back on track after leaving the Ricoh Arena for St James' Park in 2012.

Bigirimana has already put in a couple of quality performances for the Sky Blues, prompting Mowbray to hail the 22-year-old's quality as a footballer.

Mowbray said: "He brings quality, he brings a passion for the town and club. He needs an opportunity to get his career going again.

"It hasn't gone quite right at Newcastle for whatever reason. He has undoubted quality and he knows he's got a job to get in the team but he's enjoying his time so far."
