Newcastle United's talented youngster Dan Barlaser is hoping that a loan move to Crewe Alexandra will give him the game time he needs to develop.
Barlaser has only played 58 minutes since he joined the club in January, but he is hoping he can see action in the last 10 or 11 games of the season.
Barlaser said to the Chronicle: "I came back to get a game and get some fitness.
"It's very different to play reserve team football compared to playing for Crewe in League Two.
"They were in a relegation battle when I went down there so he (David Artell) wanted clean sheets and he didn't think I could do that.
"They won on Saturday so we are 18th now.
"They are higher up the table so the aim is to get more minutes in the bank."
