Newcastle boss Alan Pardew has confirmed that teenager Adam Armstrong is set to commit his future to the club. The 17 year old forward has already been involved with the first-team and been on the bench three times.
Pardew admits that the Geordie youngster will be making his Premier League debut in the near future.
"I think he's got a part to play somewhere along the line - he's somebody we have high hopes for," Pardew told the Shields Gazette.
"Hopefully, we'll secure his long-term future here in the next few days."
