Newcastle United winger Jetro Willems says that he would be delighted to return to the Netherlands national team.

Willems has not played for the Netherlands since 2016, but he could be set for a return.

He has been in excellent form with the Magpies since joining on loan from Eintracht Frankfurt at the start of the season.

Williems spoke with reporters in Holland and said: he said: "I want to enjoy myself without exerting too much pressure on myself.

"The Dutch team?

"That would be marvellous but it is up to Ronald Koeman whether he will call me up or not.

"I can only do my best and put in convincing displays."
