Newcastle United winger Andros Townsend is set to undergo a medical with Crystal Palace, according to Sky Sports.

The England international has supposedly arrived in London ahead of the medical after the Eagles activated his £13million release clause.

The 24-year-old, who joined Newcastle from Tottenham in January, scored four goals in 13 appearances for the Magpies who failed to avoid relegation.
