Newcastle United winger Wayne Routledge is keen on a move to Nottingham Forest.
Toon have put Routledge up for sale after he was returned by QPR at the end of last season.
The midfielder remains a target for the R's, though any move will only happen towards the end of the summer market.
The People says Routledge is to turn down the chance to sign for Birmingham City and join Nottingham Forest instead.
