Newcastle United winger Jacob Murphy admits his loan with Sheffield Wednesday has been difficult.
The winger started four of Wednesday's opening five Championship matches under caretaker boss Lee Bullen.
But since the appointment of Garry Monk, Murphy has struggled to oust Kadeem Harris and Adam Reach from the starting eleven
Murphy told The Star: “It is tough, but you've just got to keep grinding it out.
“I'm enjoying it, but I want to play games. From time to time you're not going to be in the team.
"When you've got two wingers in front of you that are doing a good job, then you have to wait your turn and be patient with it."
