Newcastle winger Aarons admits rollercoaster loan spells

Newcastle United winger Rolando Aarons admits it's been an eventful couple of seasons away on-loan.

Currently with Sheffield Wednesday, Aarons has also played for Hellas Verona and Solvan Liberec.

He told the Evening Chronicle, "I've come here, the manager's come in as well, so everyone's almost got a fresh start.

"There's a bit of a buzz and it's kind of helped in the performances and helped me integrate as well. It's been great so far.

"I really liked living in Italy but I made it difficult for myself because I hadn't experienced a loan before. I was in a hotel for four or five months and it wasn't good for me. Obviously, when I moved to the Czech Republic, I got an apartment and that made it a bit easier but it's difficult adapting to the style of football and the language. It's really tough.

"Italy is a nice country. The Czech Republic was a little bit different - much colder, obviously - and the standard wasn't as good as England or Italy but I think I'm better for it and game time is game time at the end of the day."
