Newcastle United wing-back Achraf Lazaar is being linked with Genoa.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Genoa are now in talks with Newcastle for Lazaar.

A loan offer has been proposed, with Newcastle willing to accept the terms tabled.

Lazaar will join Genoa in the temporary deal from January.

The defender spent part of last season also in Italy on-loan with minnows Benevento.
