Newcastle weigh up loans for Arsenal's Nketiah, Liverpool's Brewster

Newcastle United are making further moves to improve their attacking options.

The Magpies are close to securing Callum Wilson from Bournemouth and Ryan Fraser on a free transfer.

However, The Telegraph indicates Newcastle are looking at Rhian Brewster from Liverpool and Arsenal's Eddie Nketiah as well.

Either would likely be a loan signing, and it would suit Newcastle given their financial restrictions.

Given Dwight Gayle is out until December and Andy Carroll is notoriously unreliable fitness-wise, Bruce wants plenty of attacking options going into this season.

They would likely get one of Nketiah and Brewster, as both of their parent clubs would want assurances about the youngsters receiving appropriate game time.
