Newcastle United have been tracking Nice midfielder Wylan Cyprien.

The Evening Chronicle says Newcastle are continuing to monitor the situation of Cyprien of Nice.

The 25-year-old midfielder was on United's radar in January with Steve Bruce keen to bring some energy to his team.

With Isaac Hayden thought to be unsettled and the future of Sean and Matt Longstaff uncertain, Bruce could have to make a raid for the former Lens man this summer.

At Nice, Cyprien has raised his game to a new level under coach Patrick Vieira.
