Newcastle United are threatening West Ham's plans for Alphonse Areola.

After completing a season on-loan at West Ham from PSG, the goalkeeper can sign permanently for €10m.

However, West Ham are yet to trigger the option.

And the Daily Mail says Newcastle United could step in with a rival offer.

Either way, PSG are eager to see Areola sold this summer.
