Feyenoord striker Nicolai Jorgensen is struggling for form since the January market shut.

The Dane has insisted seeing a move to Newcastle United blocked by Feyenoord wasn't an issue for him. However, Jorgensen has visibly struggled this month.

The striker said: "I have to do better. I have to score goals, I know that. Last year I also had such periods. I am not happy with that and I want to do better. I'm not going to take myself down. I know I can score a lot of goals, I just have to do that again.

"I will continue to work for the team, then I am certain that those goals will come again. It is not my best period at Feyenoord. Hopefully it will come soon. I feel better and better. They were hectic months for me. I am happy that all my strength is back."
