Newcastle United target Andrey Santos admits he's a fan of Bruno Guimaraes.

Newcastle are seeking to sign the Vasco da Gama prospect.

Santos himself also hasn't been shy about wanting a move away from Brazil and even mentioned one Magpies player that he models his style of play after when speaking to Brazilian outlet Lance.

"They [Vasco de Gama] transformed me into a midfielder. I was very happy, because I was closer to goal. I really like Casemiro, Bruno Guimaraes and Thiago Alcantara. These guys are phenomenal. I look up to them a lot.

"It is clear that football in Europe is much more advanced than here in Brazil. And every boy has the dream of playing in Europe. But I am calm about it, because I know that everything will turn out well."
