Vasco da Gama attacker Andrey Santos admits he's a fan of Newcastle star Bruno Guimaraes.

Newcastle are interested in the youngster.

And he has opened up about his dream of playing in Europe in the future, and on his admiration for Newcastle's Brazilian midfield maestro.

"They [Vasco de Gama] transformed me into a midfielder. I was very happy, because I was closer to goal," Santos explained to Lance.

"I really like Casemiro, Bruno Guimaraes and Thiago Alcantara. These guys are phenomenal. I look up to them a lot.

"It is clear that football in Europe is much more advanced than here in Brazil. And every boy has the dream of playing in Europe. But I am calm about it, because I know that everything will turn out well."
