Newcastle United and Sunderland are battling to land junior whizkid Layton Campbell.
Seven year-old Layton has racked up 185 goals for his Tyneside team Walker Central Whites in just 63 games.
The Daily Star says despite his age, Newcastle United have offered Layton a two-year contract.
And the same day the offer dropped through his letterbox, officials from Sunderland phoned his dad to ask him to sign for the Black Cats.
Dad John, 26, was also a talented striker who played for Manchester City's youth team when he was 18.
