Newcastle United striker Yoshinori Muto is delighted with his move to Eibar.

The Japan international signed for Eibar on a season-long loan last week.

Muto said, "They have been very nice to me. Now I am very happy to be in a good team. I'm looking forward to playing on the field and making my debut in the Primera Division.

"I have felt it. Its atmosphere is very pleasant. It's very easy for me to be in this squad.

"In winter, in the middle of last season, I received an offer from Eibar. But at that time I couldn't get out of Newcastle. I wanted to come, but it was not possible.

"Then in the summer I received an offer from Eibar again. They invited me to come. So, I decided to get myself here."
