Newcastle United striker Callum Wilson was left frustrated after their 1-1 draw with West Ham.
Wilson had Newcastle ahead before Lucas Paqueta's equaliser.
The Toon forward later said, "Today was frustrating. The second half we had the majority of the ball, it was frustrating to let them back in.
"We stopped doing the things which brought us success, losing 50/50 duels, not pressing so efficiently. Second half was better, but we couldn't break them down.
"For us as a team we knew today would be difficult, we had to come out mentally in a positive place. When you've got a final looming over you, it is up to us to get crowd going again. We did that, but then tailed off."
Of his goal, Wilson also said: "As a striker you're itching to get on the scoresheet again. Unbelievable pass, there was only one thing on my mind.
