The 30-year-old made his long awaited return to the starting XI in the 2-0 win over Mikel Arteta's side after recently recovering from a calf injury which saw him miss 18 games.
Wilson put in a strong display as Newcastle all but ended Arsenal's hopes of securing Champions League football next season.
ut he suffered a whack to the face in the 27th minute and ran straight to the touchline to sort out what looked to be a dislodged front tooth.
The striker managed to get back on the pitch and played a crucial role in giving Newcastle the lead at St James' Park.
