Newcastle striker Wilson fails to make England training

England star Callum Wilson did not train with the main group ahead of their second game at the World Cup.

The Three Lions got off to a great start in Qatar, winning 6-2 against Iran in their first group stage game.

Wilson, who came on during that game, was not part of the full training group ahead of their next game versus the USA.

The Newcastle United man got an assist in the game, unselfishly squaring a pass for Manchester City's Jack Grealish to score England's sixth goal of the game.

The official England Twitter account tweeted: "There are 13 players involved in today's session, with @CallumWilson joining the 11 who started yesterday's game working inside, while @Madders10 continues his rehabilitation indoors."
