Newcastle striker Rondon warns Burnley: We're in good spirits

Newcastle United striker Salomon Rondon believes the team are in great morale ahead of a game against Burnley.

The Magpies are in better form, having climbed out of the relegation zone in the Premier League. But they know that one or two defeats would put them right back in trouble.

And Rondon is hoping they can put on a good show against Burnley.

He told the Chronicle: "We go to Burnley in good spirits but also knowing that the Premier League is very difficult.

"Things can change from week to week. That's because every team is at such a high level and no matter whether you are home and away each team is going to have a great chance of three points.

"Most importantly we have to be up for the battle. We have to be ready.

"We'll have to do the same things we did in the wins against Bournemouth and Watford."
