Newcastle United striker Nile Ranger is a shock target for Norwich City.
The Daily Mail says Norwich manager Chris Hughton is interested in Ranger, 21.
Hughton knows Ranger from his time as Magpies boss and is a keen admirer of the player who spent the end of last season on loan at Sheffield Wednesday.
