Newcastle United striker Ayoze Perez admits he'd like to return to La Liga someday.

The Spaniard has been in top form for Toon, scoring twice in Saturday's win over Everton.

Asked about a return to Spain, Perez said: "Yes. I am very grateful to Newcastle, but it is obvious that someday I would like to come back and play in LaLiga.

"To this day, I do not know (what the future holds). I hope something very good. I believe that I have made merit these five years [only 15 games have been lost] so that a good opportunity presents itself. "
