Newcastle United signing Callum Wilson is raring to go for his new team.

Wilson was excellent for Bournemouth in the Premier League in the past few seasons.

And he is set to take on West Ham United in the season opener, a team against which he has a great record.

He told reporters of the upcoming game: "It's West Ham you know, I like playing against them! It is a nice team to play against, it give mes confidence going into the game having scored so many goals against them in the past.

"I've been working hard at Bournemouth throughout the last few weeks, and I'm ready to get training with the boys and then it's down to the manager's decision whether to put me in or not."
