Newcastle United signing Luuk de Jong hopes for a derby start against Sunderland.
The on-loan Borussia Monchengladbach striker has wasted little time in putting his name forward. "I've heard a lot about the derby already and how much it means to the fans here," said de Jong, whose move is likely to become permanent at the end of the season.
"It is the biggest game of the year for the fans and it would be great to start in such a game.
"Hopefully I can score the winning goal. That would be a dream come true."
