Lokomotiva Zagreb midfielder Lovro Majer is staying in Croatia next season.

Majer was interesting Newcastle United, Manchester City and Sampdoria, but Majer has confirmed he's set to join Dinamo Zagreb.

He told 24sata: "I'm going to Dinamo, this is my dream.

"I think it's better for me to stay in Croatia, even if Samp's offer was higher. At least for a season I will play there.

"And on Monday I will make the medical visit."
