Newcastle United midfielder Joey Barton cannot believe that captain Kevin Nolan may be sold this summer.
Reports suggest that Nolan is having a medical with West Ham United with Barton posting on his Twitter account that he would be 'devastated' if the Magpies skipper was sold.
"Great player, leader, captain, person, trainer and mostly a friend for life. Devastated to see him SOLD!" he wrote.
The proposed deal is yet to be finalised but it appears as though Nolan may be on his way to East London and back to the Championship.
