Newcastle United attacking midfielder Romain Amalfitano has joined Dijon on loan.
The 24-year old has failed to force his way into the Magpies first team since his shift from Reims last summer and will head back to France to seek more regular game time in Ligue 2.
Amalfitano returns to his homeland for the 2013/14 season while his older brother Morgan gets set for 12 months in England after signing a loan deal with West Bromwich Albion on deadline day.
