Newcastle United are deny claims of a bust-up between manager Steve Bruce and Allan Saint-Maximin.
The Evening Chronicle says suggestions of Saint-Maximin and Bruce falling out initially erupted ahead of the 2-0 win over Crystal Palace when a calf injury ruled the winger out of the game at Selhurst Park.
Since then Saint-Maximin has not kicked a ball for the Magpies but senior sources insist that talk of a clash with the manager is "100% untrue".
Bruce was asked if Saint-Maximin was available for the League Cup trip to Brentford on Saturday night and simply replied: "No."
The Toon face the Bees tomorrow night.
