Newcastle United have confirmed that they have terminated the contract of Xisco.
The 26-year old Spanish striker joined the Magpies from Deportivo La Coruna in 2008 but failed to impress in the Northeast and was subsequently sent out on loan and three separate occasions, twice back to Deportivo.
"NUFC confirm Xisco contract terminated by mutual consent," the club posted on Twitter.
