Charles N'Zogbia expects to be a Wigan player by the end of the weekend. N'Zogbia has made his wish to leave Newcastle well known during the transfer window.

skysports.com claims the 24-year-old could be heading to the JJB after the Latics agreed a fee believed to be £6million for the Frenchman.

"It is not definitely sorted out, but it should be on Saturday, when my agent will arrive in England," N'Zogbia told L'Equipe.

"It has been complex, notably in the end, but finally I am released."
