Newcastle ready to turn to Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan N'Dicka

Newcastle United remain keen on Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan N'Dicka.

The Toon made an attempt for N'Dicka in January and have maintained a watching brief on the young stopper's progress. N'Dicka was part of Eintracht Frankfurt's Europa League final victory over Rangers.

And Newcastle are ready to move for the youngster as they become resigned to losing Lille defender Sven Botman to AC Milan.

Botman has been Toon's first choice since January but looks set to seal a move to Italy.

The Magpies are desperate for a new centre-back and have declared an interest in £20million-rated N'Dicka, says The Sun.

And with the towering 6ft 4in France U-21 talent entering the final year of his contract, the German club are willing to cash in.
