Newcastle United are open to allowing Cheick Tiote to leave for Chinese side Shanghai Greenland Shenhua.
Tiote has struggled for regular minutes on the pitch at Newcastle so far this season and as a result, the midfielder has been constantly linked with a move away from St. James' Park.
Now according to reports from the Daily Mail, it can be revealed that Newcastle have received an £8million bid from Chinese Super League outfit Shanghai Shenhua for Tiote and the Magpies are ready to cash in on the Ivorian international.
Steve McClaren purchased Henri Saivet from Bordeaux on Monday and is now ready to offload 29-year-old Tiote who has featured in only 10 Premier League games this term, six of which have been starts.
