ChampionshipNewcastle United are looking into the possibility of signing Callum McManaman from West Brom, Sky Sports understand.

The 25 year old has struggled to nail down a first-team place at the Baggies since a £4.75m move from Wigan in January 2015.

West Brom boss Tony Pulis confirmed on Sunday, following his side's goalless draw at home to Middlesbrough, that he expected McManaman to leave The Hawthorns before Wednesday's transfer deadline.

Pulis said: "The players we brought in, if they haven't settled, we'll get a return. I expect McManaman to leave - we'll get our money back on him."
