Newcastle United remain interested in Olympique Lyon defender Jason Denayer.

The Belgium international attracted serious enquiries from Newcastle last month and that interest remains, says RMC.

Lyon directors believe the defender is ready to try something new and Newcastle are following the situation with great interest.

Denayer moved to OL in 2018 from Manchester City.

The 26 year-old has scored eight goals and two assists in a total of 136 competitive matches for OL.
